No More Fossil Fuels? Are You Nuts?

Be careful what you wish for

I think we have a definition problem here. I don’t think people are anti-fossil fuels they are anti-fuel.

Fossils just happen to be the source of that fuel.

It would be clearer if people said get rid of gasoline and diesel and keep the rest of the products we get from oil.

I would hope most of you don’t want to see the end of oil.

What Would Life be Like Without Oil?

It would be hard to ride your planet saving bicycle without lubricant for your ball bearings and your chain.

Even your electric car would soon be motionless without oil keeping all the moving parts moving.

Virtually everything in your home has oil in it somewhere, — carpets on the floor, paint on the walls, your appliances, furniture, most of your clothing, a large part of your automobile would not exist if there were no plastics.

Look around you. Unless you’re in the middle of the woods you’re surrounded by oil or products containing oil in some form.

As you go through your daily life 80 to 90 percent of the things around you have oil in them somewhere.
