Why Do We Hate So Much?

Can’t we all just get along?

The late Margret Thatcher said, “I always cheer up immensely if an attack is particularly wounding because I think, well, if they attack one personally, it means they have not a single political argument left.”

Margret was way ahead of her time. The level of hate has risen to new levels not only in the USA but around the world.

You would think by now with amazing ways to communicate that wars would be a thing of the past but because of human ignorance, they continue.

Margret Sums It Up Correctly

That’s always been our political system. What’s changed in recent years is the advent of social media.

Now we sit in our dark basement and insult and demine those with whom we disagree in ways we would never consider saying face to face.

Why debate with facts when a well-placed personal attack will get the job done just as well?

Discussing the issues is way too much work. There’s actual study involved. Who wants to subject themselves to all that pain?

Why on earth would I bother to be informed on issues when I can just vote for the…
